About Talos
Built at Berkeley. For founders who move fast.
Talos was built from a simple observation: most founders don't know what they don't know until an investor's diligence request lands in their inbox and they have 48 hours to produce documents they've never organized.
The result is weeks of scrambling, thousands in legal fees, and a data room that signals to every investor reading it that the company isn't as buttoned-up as they thought.
We built Talos to change that. A readiness score that works like an operational credit score — updated in real time, personalized to your stage and sector, telling you exactly what to fix before anyone asks.
Why Talos
Talos is named after the bronze automaton of Greek mythology — the guardian forged by Hephaestus to patrol and protect the island of Crete. We thought that was the right name for a platform built to guard your company's operational foundation.
We're an early-stage startup out of UC Berkeley, currently in founder validation. We're talking to founders before we build to make sure we're solving a real problem, not an imaginary one.
